A Course in Miracles on Choice

A Course in Miracles agrees with  agrees with A Course in Miracles. Hubristic, perhaps [yes]. Grateful and thrilled - yes. I am on lesson #255 of the workbook for A Course in Miracles:
This day I choose to spend in perfect peace.... Let me this day have faith in Him Who says I am God's Son. And let the peace I choose be mind today bear witness to the truth of what He says.
Just like my book! As I said in the press release over a year ago, "The story is about recognizing the voices in your head and choosing which ones to listen to." A book about choosing which voices in your head to listen to and going for Lady Peace over Fear (Love over Fear/Anger, Compassion over Despair, etc).

Yesterday's lesson was even more bang on:
Let every voice but God's be still in me

Father [Mother], today I would but hear Your Voice. In deepest silence I would come to You, to hear Your Voice and to receive Your Word. I have no prayer but this: to come to You to ask You for the truth. And truth is but Your Will, which I would share with You today...

Today we let no ego thoughts [Fear, Despair, Worry, etc] thoughts direct our words or actions. When such thoughts occur [nice, it is known they jump into the brain uninvited, even on the most sunny of perfect days], we quietly step back and look at them, and then we let them go. We do not want what they would bring with them [we don't want the associated thoughts, physiological changes, etc] . And so we do not choose [CHOOSE!!] to keep them. [Peace, love, compassion are CHOICES - the way we look at the world is a choice! Yippie!]. They are silent now. [with more and more practice they do become silent, as Eckhart Tolle would say, you aren't feeding the pain body and it becomes weaker. Wow! Tolle wrote about the pain body on the Huff Post!] And in the stillness, hallowed by His [Her] Love, God speaks to us and tells us of our will, as we have chosen to remember Him [Her].
So so amazing.

And off we go into the day of perfect peace, because we choose to see life that way.
